situation /
Seeking to upgrade their basketball training facility, Texas Tech Athletic Department hired national branding agency, Forty Nine Degrees, to oversee renovations and a new design for the team’s expansive trophy case. Forty Nine Degrees trusted Britten WoodWorks to handle the unique layout requirements, stay within budget, and create a perfectly branded environment.
solution /
Based on 3D renderings created by Forty Nine Degrees, WoodWorks constructed a huge trophy case measuring 20’W x 10’H. To support the display’s 1,000 pounds of glass and backlit wall panels, WoodWorks called in the metal experts from sister company, Britten MetalWorks, to build a custom, internal framing system. The team then constructed a pedestal-style, motor operated, rotating trophy case. Using top-quality acrylic, they branded the spinning piece in Raiders red, and carved a light-up, Texas Tech logo onto the face of the wood.
impact /
WoodWorks carefully deconstructed the two cases and packed them for shipping and installation in Texas, where they’ll showcase Red Raider’s history of success for decades to come. Simplifying projects. Eliminating the hassle and high cost of multiple vendors. Nailing unique design concepts on the first try. WoodWorks, powered by Britten, delivers one-stop service and solutions for any branding or visual marketing needs.
